 汽车使用与维修中存在着一些误念,这些误念是在汽车制造水平低、修理手段落后、检测手段缺乏的年代里长期形成的。这些误念有时看似正确,其实不然,具有很大的危害性,会使车辆受到损失、人身安全受到威胁,而更大的可能是由此埋下了事故的隐患,或造成车辆性能下降、磨损加快、寿命缩短等。

1、盲目拆掉发动机节温器

如果因发动机温度高而盲目拆除节温器,冷却液只能进行大循环,不能调节冷却强度,难以保证发动机在较适宜的温度下工作,反而使发动机经常处于低温状态下工作,造成发动机功率下降,磨损加快,油耗增加。如果发动机节温器发生故障检修或更换之后,发动机温度还高,就应检修冷却系统的其他部位,不能拆除节温器。

3、水泵风扇皮带越紧越好

有些人喜欢把轮胎气压充得较高,认为这样既可超载又可节油。这是不正确的。轮胎气压过高,会使轮胎接地面减小,磨损加重,而且还容易爆胎。轮胎气压过高,使轮胎的附着系数减小,降低刹车时的制动效果,增大测滑量,对行车安全造成较大的危害。轮胎气压过低也不好,会造成磨胎肩、折胎、油耗增加等。应按轮胎上标明的标准气压充气,充气量一般在标准气压的±5%较为适宜。
